How long is the film?

80 minutes with an abridged 65 minute version as well. Available on all screening DVDs

What screening formats are available?

DVD. Blu-ray and hi-resolution digital download by request only.

What subtitles are available?

English and Hebrew

How much does it cost to screen the film?

Screening licenses depend on the type of screening you are hosting:

Community Screenings Licensing prices:

One time/one location $250
License for 12 months at One Location $600
License for Fundraising Event $1000
License for 12 months at Many Locations $10,000

Educational Screening Licensing price:

Due to a generous grant the first 100 high schools to sign up for a screening receive a FREE license to show the film* *Thanks to a generous grant, we are able to offer you both the film and follow up program “Basic Training” for free. The terms of the grant require that you complete our brief post-screening survey within 30 days of your screening.

Camp Screening Licensing price:

What if I want to show it more than once ?

The amount of times you can screen the film Beneath the Helmet depends on the screening license that you purchase, to see options and prices check out the question above or visit the Host a Screening page.

How can I preview the film?

The movie trailer can be watched here.

Is the film appropriate for elementary age kids?

The film is designed for middle school, high school and up, there are elements that would be lost on younger kids but there is nothing inappropriate or scary.

How can I ensure that no one in my area can show the film at the same time as my event?

From December 17th 2014 the film will be open and available to the public and there is no way to ensure exclusivity.

What kind of venue would you recommend for screenings?

Since it is a high-quality film, the best venue to show the film is a theater/ cinema.
